About Me

Dr. Ashraf Salem is a Specialist Pediatrician with over 35 years of experience in the field of medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1985, followed by a Master's in Pediatrics from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1991. Dr. Ashraf started his career as a Paediatric Resident at Cairo University Hospital, Egypt in 1988.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ashraf has worked in various medical institutions across Cairo and other regions of Egypt and Saudi Arabia before moving to United Arab Emirates. In the UAE, he has served as a Clinical Lecturer and Tutor at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, in the Department of Clinical Science (Paediatrics).

His areas of expertise include:

• Management of respiratory system diseases
• Growth and development assessment
• Management of urinary system diseases
• Pediatric allergies, including asthma
• Management of infectious diseases
• Pediatric vaccinations
• Pediatric nutritional concerns
• Management of gastrointestinal diseases

Dr. Ashraf brings a wealth of experience in caring for pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents up to 14 years old. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
