About Me

Dr. Avinash Rai is a Specialist Urologist with almost eight years of experience in Urology.
He completed his MBBS from K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India and MS (General Surgery), followed by MCh (Urology) from Yenepoya Medical College, India. .
After completing his super specialty training in Urology, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology, Renal Sciences and Robotic Surgery at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore- India, where he actively assisted in robotic surgeries. He also has worked as a Junior Consultant in Yenepoya Specialty Hospital India for three years. .
Dr. Avinash has two publications and has presented scientific papers and posters in various state and national conferences. He is a member of the Urological Society of India (USI), Association of Southern Urologists (ASU) and Karnataka Urology Association (KUA). .
His special interests are in Endo Urology, Andrology, Uro Oncology and Laparoscopic Urology. .
Dr. Avinash speaks English, Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
