About Me

Dr Carlo Catanghal Espinoa is a highly experienced doctor who graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Our Lady of Fatima University, College of Medicine, Philippines in 2013, kicking off his impressive career journey. Over the past nine years, he has worked diligently as a General Practitioner, serving in various healthcare settings across different countries, from bustling hospitals in the Philippines to remote areas in Maldives and Cambodia, before settling in the vibrant healthcare environment of the UAE.

His professional journey includes roles such as a Level II Medical Officer at Rizal Provincial Hospital System Antipolo Annex 1 (2016-2017), a government hospital in the Philippines with a capacity of 150 beds. Following this, he served as the Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department and ICU at Treetop Hospital (2018-2020), a private multinational hospital with 210 beds in Hulhumale, Maldives. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck in 2020, he took on the responsibility of a General Practitioner and Covid-19 Lead Physician at The Prestige Hospital (2020-2021), a private multinational hospital with 150 beds in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

In 2022, Dr. Carlo relocated to Dubai, where he began working as a General Practitioner in the Al Rigga area. His dedication to patient care is unmatched, evident in his ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all age groups. He specialises in respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and minor surgical procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D) and suturing.

Dr. Carlo is proficient in English and Filipino (Tagalog), ensuring effective communication with his patients, thereby building trust and rapport in every interaction. His commitment to delivering compassionate care makes him an invaluable member of the healthcare community.
