About Me
Dr Elshaymaa Abdelhai Mohamed Ali is a seasoned Specialist in Family Medicine with over 20 years of experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2003. Dr Elshaymaa further advanced her expertise by obtaining her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and Fellowship from the Egyptian Board of Family Medicine, both in 2009.
Following her medical degree, Dr Elshaymaa began her career at Zagazig University Hospital and later worked at a Primary Health Centre, where she excelled as both a clinician and Unit Manager, handling clinical and administrative duties. Her work in Egypt also included significant contributions to child development, family planning, and welfare programs.
Upon relocating to the UAE, Dr Elshaymaa joined NMC Royal Hospital, where she served in the Internal Medicine Department and Long-Term Care Unit for nearly 11 years. She has also completed certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
