About Me

Dr Jijo Jose is a Specialist orthopaedic surgeon with more than 18 years of orthopaedic experience in India and abroad. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, India and his postgraduate diploma in orthopaedics from Fr Muller Medical College Mangalore India and later did his DNB in orthopaedics from the same institution. He then worked in India for a short period as a junior consultant and later as a specialist orthopedician in Saudi Arabia for a few years. During his stint abroad he was interested in joint surgeries and so quit the job and joined Ortho one Orthopedic speciality centre for training in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy. He successfully completed his ISAKOS fellowship in Arthroscopy and sports medicine under the guidance of Dr David V Rajan. He was practising in Ernakulam, India as a consultant in a reputed healthcare organization for 6 years. He then successfully completed advanced shoulder fellowship training under Dr Jean Kany, Toulouse, France and then worked as a faculty in PK Das Medical College Palakkad, Kerala for 4 years, before moving to UAE. In addition to modern medicine, he is a graduate (BAMS) in the indigenous medicine of India viz Ayurveda. He has national and international journal publications to his credit.
