Dr. Jinu Vadakkanethu Iype is a highly skilled ENT specialist with over 10 years of medical experience. She completed her MBBS from Wuhan University, China, in 2013 and went on to serve as a Junior Resident in Surgery at Thiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital in Kerala, India, until 2016. She then pursued her MS in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Vinayaka Mission’s Medical College, Pondicherry, India, where she graduated as the top rank holder and gold medalist in 2020.

Dr. Jinu began her career as a full-time ENT Consultant at Ranni Medical Mission Hospital in Pathanamthitta, Kerala in 2020, while also practicing as part-time consultant at private clinics in the region. She has actively contributed to medical research, with her work published in prestigious journals like the ‘Indian Journal of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (IJOHNS)’. Some of her notable research includes ‘Bacteriological Profile and Their Antibiotic Susceptibility Pattern in Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (TTD) in a Tertiary Care Hospital’ - (June 2019), ‘Epidermoid Cyst of Earlobe: A Common Cyst at an Uncommon Site’ - (September 2019) and ‘The Role of Budesonide and Mometasone Furoate on Nasal and Sinus Symptoms in Allergic Rhinosinusitis: A Randomized Study’ - (January 2020).

Dr. Jinu is proficient in performing a wide range of ENT procedures, both emergency and elective, including myringotomy, tympanometry, nasal endoscopy, tonsillectomy, coblation adenoidectomy, and laryngoscopy. She is adept at managing conditions such as vertigo and allergies, along with performing aesthetic ENT procedures like ear lobe repair, keloid removal, and body piercings. In addition, she specializes in screening for speech delay and autism and in the management of vertigo and allergic Rhinitis.
