About Me
Dr Nasheeda Chemban Mammootty is an experienced pediatrician with over six years of expertise in pediatric and newborn care. She completed her MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, and her MD in Pediatrics from NITTE University, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Throughout her career, Dr Nasheeda has developed the skills and expertise required to manage a wide range of paediatric outpatient cases, administer immunizations, and address growth and development conditions, with a particular interest in newborns and postnatal infants.
After completing her studies, Dr. Nasheeda began her career at a Medical College, where she served as a Senior Assistant Professor for three years. During her tenure, she managed cases in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), in addition to teaching MBBS students. She has also been actively involved in several outreach activities, such as camps and community studies, aimed at promoting community well-being. Moreover, she played a pivotal role as a front-line worker during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Prior to relocating to the UAE, Dr. Nasheeda also worked at a leading private hospital in India, where she provided comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, developing a special interest in neonatology.
Dr Nasheeda has been extensively involved in research, conducting studies on Infants of Diabetic Mothers (IDMs) and Congenital Hypothyroidism (CH), as well as various antenatal and postnatal development cases and infectious diseases, with a special focus on neonatal care.
Dr Nasheeda is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.
