Dr. Ramachandran Rajagopal is a highly seasoned dermatologist with an impressive track record spanning over 29 years. He has held prominent positions in various teaching tertiary hospitals within Indian Air Force establishments, culminating in his retirement as the equivalent of a Group Captain (Colonel) from the Indian Air Force in 2014. From 2015 onward, he extended his expertise to reputable hospitals in the UAE.
His extensive expertise encompasses clinical and procedural dermatology, venereology (Sexually transmitted diseases), and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ramachandran is particularly adept at handling acute emergency dermatology cases and paediatric dermatology.
Furthermore, he possesses considerable proficiency in performing procedures for the removal of skin growths, warts, moles, cryotherapy, and nail surgery. In addition, he offers cosmetic treatments including PRP for hair and mesotherapy, as well as administering Botox injections.
Dr. Ramachandran's commitment to advancing his field is evident through his prolific contributions. He has presented a multitude of papers at both national and international conferences and has made substantial contributions to various book chapters. Beyond his clinical practice, he has also served as a professor of dermatology in India, nurturing the next generation of postgraduate students in the field. His dedication to medical standards is underscored by his role as an inspector for the Medical Council of India (MCI).
