About Me

Dr Shamsa Mohammed is an experienced Specialist Radiologist with over 14 years of expertise as a medical practitioner. She completed her MBBS from Calicut University, Kerala, in 2009 and her MD in Radiology from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, in 2015. She has been actively practicing in the field of Radiology since completing her MD and further pursued specialized training in obstetric ultrasound at Sonoscan Ultrasonic Scan Centre, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 2019.

Dr Shamsa's expertise spans a broad range of radiological services. She excels in performing and reporting Greyscale and Doppler imaging for the abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology, and limbs/small parts. Her proficiency extends to reporting conventional radiographs, mammography, and contrast studies, as well as interpreting both plain and post-contrast CT and MRI scans.

In addition to her diagnostic skills, Dr Shamsa is skilled in performing basic interventional procedures such as pleural and ascitic fluid taps, Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), and abscess aspirations. Her comprehensive skill set ensures precise and thorough diagnostic services, contributing to optimal patient care.

Dr Shamsa is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil, enabling effective communication with a diverse patient population.
