Dr. Vanitha Soma is an experienced medical professional working as Obstetrics & Gynaecologist at NMC Medical Centre. She comes with an excellent clinical experience of 5 plus years in his medical speciality.
Dr Soma completed her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka, India. Prior to that, she had completed her MBBS from Jiujiang University, China
She has performed around 450 vaginal deliveries, including normal and instrumental, She has also performed around 560 C-sections and has assisted in about 200 surgeries like Vaginal Hysterectomies, Total Abdominal Hysterectomies. She is skilled in dealing with all kinds of obstetric emergencies. On a daily level, she has managed OPDs, IPDs and Labor Rooms.
Dr Soma has s couple of publications like A prospective study of Histological Pattern of Endometriosis in AUB and more. Her interests are in Reproductive Medicine, Laparoscopic Surgery and Clinical Research. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam.
