About Me

Dr. Anita completed her MBBS and MS from CMC Vellore, India. She did her DNB (General Surgery) from the National Board of Examinations. Having 18 years of experience as General Surgeon, Dr. Anita has also worked as a professor of Surgery and Unit Chief at Saveetha Medical College & Hospital Chennai, India. Prior to that she was working at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences where she was the head of Casualty & Emergency services. Dr. Anita has attended various state and national conferences and has also organized and attended CME programs in India. She was awarded gold medal for clinical excellence at Saveetha University. She was also awarded the best teacher at Saveetha University. She has been a UG and PG guide for surgical trainees. Dr. Anita is an ATLS instructor in the American College of Surgeons. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. Dr. Anita is well versed in English, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
