Dr. Biggs Saravanan Ramachandran completed his MBBS from Madurai Medical College in 2004, MD from Darbhanga Medical College in 2008. He completed his Gastroenterology DM training from the prestigious Institute of GastroEnterology Madras Medical college in 2012. He has over 10 years of experience in Gastroenterology. He completed the Speciality Certificate Examination (SCE) in Gastroenterology of Royal College of Physicians UK in 2015. He was awarded MRCP UK in 2016 and DNB –Gastroenterology from the National Board of Exams in 2017. He was awarded MRCPI ( Royal College of Physicians of Ireland) in 2020. He was trained in advanced endoscopic procedures in Montreal, Shenyang, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Strasbourg. He has a wide experience in treating a range of Gastroenterological, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic diseases. He has published several papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has a keen interest in advanced therapeutic and interventional endoscopy. His routine practice involves advanced ERCP since 2012 and Endoscopic Ultrasound including interventional EUS since 2014. He has started Motorised Power Spiral Enteroscopy in his unit from 2020. He has wide experience of working at many super-specialty hospitals.
