Dr Salim Babu is a highly experienced and compassionate medical professional working as an Internal Medicine Specialist at NMC Medical Centre, Ajman. With over 25 years' of experience in this field, 19 of which were spent in the UAE, he practices evidence-based medicine with a special interest in current advances in medicine. Dr Salim Babu obtained an M.B.B.S. from the Government Medical College in Trivandrum, Kerala. Following completion of his MBBS, he worked with Indian Railways (Western Railway) as a medical officer for one year. Later he completed his Masters at M. S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore.
As a physician, Dr Salim has expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, respiratory ailments like asthma, bronchitis, back pain, joint diseases, migraines, and neurological conditions. He actively participates in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and keeps up to date with cutting-edge treatment methods and devices.
He speaks English, Hindi, Arabic and Malayalam.
