About Me

Dr Sana Mehek is an experienced paediatrician with over fifteen years of expertise in pediatric and newborn care. She completed her MBBS and MD in Paediatrics from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Dr Sana has also published a scientific paper on Wilm’s tumor in Pediatric Oncology and has been a speaker at an international CME, with a special focus on ‘Hemangiomas in Paediatrics’.

Throughout her career, Dr Sana has developed the skills and expertise required to manage a wide range of paediatric outpatient cases, administer immunizations, and address growth and development conditions, with a particular interest in newborns and postnatal infants.

After completing her studies, Dr Sana began her career as a specialist in paediatric and adolescent care across various parts of India before moving to the UAE in 2013. She worked with prominent healthcare providers in different Emirates of UAE, before joining NMC Medical Centre in 2016. Since then, her utmost care, dedication, and commitment have enabled her to provide enhanced quality care through evidence-based medicine.

Dr Sana has special interests in pediatric care, including the diagnosis and management of health conditions such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, paediatric obesity, nutrition, infant feeding, and common childhood illnesses. She is also a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics.

Dr Sana is fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, English, and Telugu.
