About Me
Dr Shoiab Yousuf is an Internal Medicine specialist with more than 10 years of experience as a medical practitioner. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka, India, in 2013, followed by his Master’s in Internal Medicine from the University of Jammu in 2018.
Dr Shoiab began his career as a senior resident in the Department of Medicine at the Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu, India. He later worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Government Medical College from 2021 to 2024, where he managed a variety of illnesses and medical conditions before moving to the United Arab Emirates.
Dr Shoiab is a member of the Association of Physicians of India (API) and the Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI). He has published several research papers as the first author in reputed journals and has contributed to various paper and poster presentations.
Dr Shoiab’s areas of expertise includes:
• Management of lifestyle diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and joint disorders
• Management of communicable and infectious diseases in both adults and children
• Management of allergic and respiratory disorders like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), asthma, and other respiratory infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis
• Management of conditions related to aging, such as dementia, osteoporosis, falls, and mobility issues
• Management of heart disorders and associated conditions
• Management of thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders
• Management of various kidney disorders, urinary tract infections (UTIs), fever, and other systemic infections
• Management of conditions like anemia and clotting disorders
• Promoting preventive health screening, immunizations for all age groups, and lifestyle modification counseling
