Dr. Sivashankar Vetrimani is an energetic medical professional working as a General Practitioner at NMC Medical Centre, Buhairah. He comes with an excellent clinical experience of 16 plus years in his medical field.
Dr. Sivashankar completed his Diploma in ENT degree from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. He has done his Undergraduate MBBS at Chengalpattu Medical College, of Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamil Nadu, India. He also pursued a specialization in Diabetes Management with CCEBDM certificate from Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy, Chennai, India He is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating a variety of Human Diseases and injuries. His exceptional understanding of drug properties and interactions, procedural techniques and preventive healthcare methods are commendable. He is experienced in dealing with Medical and surgical emergencies. He attended more than 10,000 patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic period. His experience is also in treating Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, Thyroid disorders and various fever conditions, Enthesitis and abdominal pain conditions.
He can perform common surgical procedures such as Incision and Drainage, stitching and dressing of wounds, Catheterization and Intubation. He can perform all ENT procedures such as Foreign Body Removal, sinusitis treatment, wax removal and tonsillitis treatment
Dr. Sivashankar has attended various training programs such as BLS, ACLS, Poison Management, Trauma Life Support, Snakebite and Scorpion Sting Management.
He is well-versed in English, Hindi, Telugu & Tamil.
