Dr Yassin Malallah Tahir is a renowned and passionate health professional who works as a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon at the NMC Medical Centre, Sharqan. He completed the MBBS at the University of Baghdad, Iraq, in 1974. He graduated from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCS) in Glasgow, UK in 1984.
Dr. Yasin comes with more than 48 years of experience in medical practice. He was also a professor of surgery and has extensive experience with emergency as well as elective cases of open and laparoscopic procedures.
Dr. Yasin’s expertise and special interest areas include laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic and open appendectomy, laparoscopic and open hernia repair, breast and thyroid surgery, hemorrhoid treatments by THD and laser technique, treatment, and management of all kinds of anal fistulas and fissures, pilonidal sinus, skin and subcutaneous masses, and circumcision of children and adults.
