Ms. Yukthi Sharma is a talented Physiotherapist working at NMC Medical Centre, Al Majaz has an experience in this field for over 7+ years. She believes in guiding and educating patients so that they can make their own decisions on health and is persistent in advocating for her patients. She gained her Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy from RUHS (Rajasthan University Health and Science) Jaipur, Rajasthan, India in the year 2013 and worked as Consultant Physiotherapist at Calicut, Kerala, India. She has also attended a workshop in Myofascial release technique, Lumbar spine redfined , Stroke rehablitation ,Level one manual therapy(Muscle energy technique, Myofascial release neural Mobilization & joint mobilization), ergonomic in daily living, intensive care physiotherapy & cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. She is specifically interested in assessing & treating OPD/IPD patients in all conditions, assessing conditions of patients to diagnose problems and utilising exercises program involving strengthening, stretching, breathing and relaxation including performing spinal and peripheral joint Mobilisation . Her specializations include pain management, post-operative stiffness, arthritis, post and prenatal muscle strengthening training, neurological rehabilitation, geriatric Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Sports Injury (Tennis Elbow, Golfer’s Elbow, Frozen Shoulder, Sprain, Strain, Bursitis, Tendonitis), Paediatrics condition like developmental delay, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophies, Spina bifida. She is fluent in English, Hindi ,Malayalam & Basic Arabic. She is an active member of Indian Association of Physiotherapy.
