About Me

Dr. Anwar completed MBBS in 2009 from Saint Petersburg State Medical Academy named after I.I. Mechnikov. He started his career in India working as a General Practitioner at Shifa Institute of Medical Sciences, India (SIMS) in the year 2012. In 2014, he started his new job at Rajiv Gandhi Specialty Hospital, Agatti Island, Lakshadweep, Managed by IQRAA International Hospital & Research Centre (India). In the year 2017, Dr Anwar moved to UAE and started his career as a General Practitioner in a private medical centre in Al Nahda region of Sharjah. His areas of expertise includes treatment and management of acute respiratory infections, GI conditions, Genito-urinary diseases and skin diseases. He can handle minor surgical procedures under local Anaesthesia such as suturing of lacerated wounds, Incision and drainage of abscess, wound care, nail excision and ear piercing. His special interests are in the management of chronic conditions as diabetes, HTN, dyslipidemia, asthma, hypothyroidism, common adult and Paediatric illness management. He speaks English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Russian.
