About Me

Dr. Harshitha Richard has been working as a General Practitioner at NMC Medical Center, Sharqan. She considers it her privilege to work in the field of medicine and uses this platform to make her patients feel empowered about their health conditions. She completed her graduation (MBBS) from University of Sharjah College of Medicine with internship experience from renowned Medical Facilities, MOHAP. She has a rich history in diagnosing and treating patients with accurate medical documentation of patient care history and evaluation and prescribing medications to mitigate medical conditions & illness. She is passionate about Medicine and manages wound stitching, blood culture collection, and Urinary catheterization. Her areas of interest include practicing evidence-based medicines & to deliver efficient patient care, educating the community about mental health, and lifestyle management, raising awareness about diabetics, HTN & High risks of smoking Furthermore, she went on to work in a collaboration with a team of 4 skilled doctors in the development of a research study titled “Heart Strokes, Knowledge & Preventative Practices Amongst Public of UAE”. It has recently been published in the “International Journal of Medical Students” She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Telugu. Our medical professionals make sure the patient receives top-notch healthcare services.
