About Me

Dr Shantala Rajashekhar Sannabilagi completed her BDS and MDS in Prosthodontics from KLES’s V K Institute of Dental Sciences, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore. With 15 years of experience in both clinical and academic aspects, she has acquired significant expertise in Prosthodontics. Dr Shantala was honored with the Best Scientific Paper award at the National IPS Conference in Pondicherry in 2006. Subsequently, in 2007, she was awarded a gold medal and the Award of Excellence by KLES’s V K Institute of Dental Sciences. Dr Shantala has numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and has served as a review board member of the Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society since 2011.

In 2008, Dr Shantala began her career as a lecturer at PMNM Dental College and Hospital in Bagalkot, Karnataka, where she was later promoted to Associate Professor in Prosthodontics. She subsequently joined Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital in Chennai in 2014. Since 2017, she has been practicing as a Consultant Prosthodontist in Bangalore.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi.
