Ms. Athira Rajith is an energetic medical professional working as a Physiotherapist at NMC Medical Centre, Rolla. She comes with an excellent clinical experience in the field of physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for 3 plus years.
Ms. Athira completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the RVS college of physiotherapy, Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu, India in 2017
She has extensive experience servicing reputed Healthcare institutions in India as a Physiotherapist. She is well–versed in managing out-patient and in-patient cases in various conditions. Ms Athira’s areas of expertise include musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and neurological conditions- stroke management, parkinsonism, Gillian barre syndrome and spinal cord injuries.
She has a special interest in the assessment of patient conditions to diagnose and design an exercise program that involves strengthening and stretching bone and muscle groups, breathing and relaxation techniques including performing spinal and peripheral joint mobilization. She has expertise also in pain management, post-operative stiffness, arthritis, post and pre-natal muscle strength training, neurological rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and sports injuries
She is a member of the Indian Association Of Physiotherapy is fluent in conversing in English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.
