Dr. Sumayya Nizarudeen is an accomplished General Practitioner and has been passionate about Medicine since a kid. She has been working at NMC Medical Centre, Al Majaz in this field for over 10+ years. She began her journey in medicine about a decade ago, in MBBS from Sanaa University, Republic of Yemen and has worked in India, Yemen and UAE. She believes in a holistic and empathetic approach towards the patients to treat them and understand their issues better. Having treated ailments like acute conditions as acute respiratory infections, GI conditions, Genito-urinary diseases and skin diseases, she also provides primary medical care for patients and can manage minor surgical procedures as suturing of lacerated wounds, Incision and drainage of abscess, wound care, nail excision, NG tube insertion etc. She also handles and provides treatment for chronic conditions as diabetes, HTN, dyslipidaemia and other chronic life style diseases. She is well-versed in Arabic, Hindi, English, Malayalam and Tamil.
